Slope City 2: the new city, diamonds, and the ball shop
Guide updated
Learn the redesigned map
Slope City 2 continues the downhill ball idea on a redesigned city map. It also offers a shop for ball designs and diamonds used to purchase special abilities. The immediate challenge remains steering along the route, but you now have a reason to think about collecting as well as staying in control.
Do not assume a route learned in Slope City will carry over. Treat each visible platform as new information, and use the first few attempts to understand the layout instead of chasing every diamond.
Keyboard and touch controls
Steer left or right with A/D or the Left/Right Arrow keys on desktop. Swipe left or right on mobile. Begin with short corrections and watch how far they move the ball. The provider’s instructions do not include a manual jump or brake command.
Keep the ball lined up with the next safe surface before looking at a pickup. If you switch between mouse menus and keyboard play, return your hands to your chosen steering pair before starting another attempt.
Choose which diamonds to collect
A diamond is most useful when its route also leaves a safe exit. Before steering toward one, check the space beyond it. Passing up a pickup can be the sensible choice when reaching it would leave you poorly positioned for the next platform.
Try separating your goals. In a collection attempt, practice reaching diamonds on routes you already understand. In a survival attempt, let the harder pickups go and concentrate on continuity. This makes it easier to tell whether a shorter run came from steering trouble or a deliberate collection risk.
Read the shop before spending
The provider distinguishes ball designs in the shop from special abilities purchased using diamonds. Read the current item descriptions and costs before deciding. A different-looking ball is not automatically a handling upgrade, and the listing does not give an exact ability ranking.
After making a change, play a familiar section and observe what actually differs. Avoid buying several options at once solely to fix an uncertain mistake. If you consistently miss a transition, improving the approach may be more useful than changing the ball’s appearance.
